The Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo has devoted her Grammy award within the World Finest Music Album Class to Nigerian singer Burna Boy.

Angelique Kidjo defeated Burna Boy, Altin Gün, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Performed By Jules Buckley, Nathalie Joachim & Spektral Quartet to win the award on Sunday.
Kidjo received, for the fourth time, leaving Burna Boy nonetheless ready to win his first.
Nevertheless, Kidjo saluted Burna Boy and stated that he’s altering Africa.
“4 years in the past on this stage, I used to be telling you that the brand new era of artists coming from Africa are going to take you by storm.
“And the time has come. That is for Burna Boy.
“Burna Boy is amongst these younger artists that come from Africa that’s altering the best way our continent is perceived and the best way African music has been the bedrock of each music,” BBC Africa quoted Angelique Kidjo.
