2023 Presidency: Atiku, PDP Chieftains Meet CAN Leaders

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has arrived in Abuja for a meeting with the leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Naija News reports that the former Vice President arrived at the CAN Headquarters at the Christian Ecumenical Centre in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for an interaction with the Christian leaders.

Atiku was invited for an interactive session with the CAN leaders to share his ideas and concerns regarding the nation ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The former Vice President was accompanied by his vice presidential candidate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, and PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

Other PDP chieftains at the meeting include former Vice President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku; Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications Plc, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi; and Chief Tom Ikimi.

Also at the meeting are former governor of Adamawa, Boni Haruna; former governor of Cross River, Liyel Imoke; former governor of Bayelsa State, Timi Alaibe; Senate Minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda; Senator Dino Melaye, Kenneth Imasuagbon, Dele Momodu,  and other party Chieftains.
