Orji Kalu commiserates with Ghana, says Rawlings was a pragmatic leader

In his tribute, Kalu mentioned, “the demise of former President Jerry Johnson Rawlings of Ghana, is a giant blow not solely to Ghana however Africa generally.

“The previous Ghanaian chief performed very important roles within the sustenance of democracy in Africa.

“He was a daring, brave and pragmatic chief, who served Ghana meritoriously within the army and civilian regimes.

“The late former president, will probably be remembered for his invaluable contributions to the social, financial and political growth of the African continent”.

The previous governor of Abia conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Mrs Nana Rawlings and different members of the Rawlings household and prayed God to repose the soul of the previous president.
