Container falls on Kara bridge (photo)

Tragedy was averted on Kara bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway after an articulated truck conveying a 40ft container fell on Monday night, January 30.

The truck was said to be heading inward Ogun State when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned causing the container to fall on the road. Vehicular movement was halted for a while.

This incident happened barely 24 hours after a container fell on a commercial bus in the Ojuelegba area of the state on Sunday, January 29, killing nine persons including two children.
