We saw shege pro max but stood strong - Nigerian woman writes as she sets to marry her boyfriend 11 years after they met in a cab
A Nigerian woman, Charity Ekpeyong, who is set to marry her long-term boyfriend, Ntiedo Samson, has shared how they began dating after meeting in a cab eleven years ago.

Sharing their throwback and pre-wedding photos on Saturday, November 30, Charity said their love story was not without challenges, but they weathered every storm together.

“Some 11 years ago, I met this young man in a cab, from Eket to Uyo, NseAbasi Valentine was expecting me, as I spent most of my weekends with her then, so we started out as friends, till Oga summoned courage & told me the friend zone wasn’t working though it took a while before I could agree as I was just out of a relationship & just wanted to be alone for some time, I turned down several appointments with him until one day, Precious Ifeoma said & I quote “Babe this guy don dey on top your case for some time now & he no wan give up, na man wey serious dey disturb like this, try see am this weekend, if na fear dey worry you, I go follow you go” she wrote.

“Ifeoma thanks for speaking sense into my head by the way, well we both went & the rest they say, is history, over the years, our connection grew stronger, though we had our ups & downs/temptations, (We see shege pro max) but we stood strong

“This is our own version of Esther was black & broke.”
