Girl harassed by traditional worshippers ‘for standing in their path’ in Lagos (video)

Girl harassed by traditional worshippers

Traditional worshippers having a procession harassed a young woman in a market in Lagos.

The girl was in a crowded market as the traditional worshippers passed by, ringing bells.

She appeared intrigued as she stood in front of a fruits and vegetable store, staring at the worshippers.

One of the worshippers then pushed her and another also followed suit. The girl looked confused as they scolded her.

After they left, others in the market are seen consoling her.

A voice is heard saying, “If to say na black black she wear, she would have been burnt (In yoruba)…”
