Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, is excited by the new nickname, ‘C Ronaldo of Nollywood’, he was recently given by his fans.
Sharing a screenshot of the praises he got from fans after they watched his latest movie, one fan can be seen to have likened him to the famous footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Apparently excited by the nickname, the actor explained that the name means he is Nollywood’s greatest.
He therefore appreciated his fans and followers for coming up with the name and expressed how honored he is as he ended his message with a prayer. He said,
I just heard the viewers have given me a new name after watching the movie The Messiah.
They now call me the C Ronaldo of Nollywood.
Means Nollywood greatest.
Thank you to you all. I’m honored.

Yul Edochie declares himself the next governor of Anambra State
Not long ago, in September, Yul declared himself the best actor in Africa. Taking to his Instagram page, he claimed that many people are saying he is the best actor in Africa, which he concurs with.
It wasn’t much of a surprise when his wife, Judy Austin, agreed that he is the best in Nollywood.
She praised him, declaring that nobody comes close to him when it comes to acting and directing. She also crowned him the best director in Nollywood.
She said that his gifts are unlimited as she asserted that many Nollywood actors and directors became known because they were directed by him.
Veteran actor, Kanayo Kanayo, had given Yul his flowers, while sharing a clip of them on a movie set.
Kanayo stated that whether one likes Yul or not, one can’t take away the fact that he is a great performer who knows how to use his voice and body to express his artistic mien and candor.
