Oyo state government confirm reports of explosion in Ibadan, the state capital

The Oyo state government has confirmed reports of an explosion that rocked Ibadan, the state capital this evening January 16. 

In a statement published on social media, the state government said it is aware of the explosion and that security agents are investigating the incident to determine the source and cause of the explosion.
