My salary for this month is N50,000 – Nigerian soldier laments after being unable to pay his transport fare to go see his family


A video of a Nigerian soldier lamenting about his poor remuneration has made the rounds on social media.  In the video, the soldier revealed he earns N50,000 a month. He said he just left the bush” and was about to go see his family, but was told transportation to and from his place would cost N70,000.
