LIVE: ‘Men against boys’: Rebels whacked for ugly effort

Justin Marshall has not held back in his assessment of the Rebels’ first half performance.

Trailing 33-7 at the break, the men from Melbourne do not look like a team that will challenge the table-topping Hurricanes tonight.

“You can’t turn up against the Hurricanes side that’s confident and be off your game, and they’re certainly off their game,” said the former All Black.

“I know it’s Kids Rounds, but it’s men against boys out there at the moment, which is not good enough.

“The Rebels will be getting a real talking to here because they were inaccurate at set piece, they were inaccurate around the field, and it’s costing them.

“This could go cricket score if they’re not careful.”
