Several feared trapped as container crushes two cars in Kogi market

Several passengers were reportedly trapped in two cars crushed by an articulated truck at Lokogoma Market in Lokoja, Kogi State.

According to the Daily Trust, the incident happened around 3.45 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024, when the truck caught fire and a container it was carrying fell on the cars. 

It was gathered that the container fell on the cars after the driver lost control due to brake failure. 

However, an eyewitness who posted a video of one of the vehicles said nobody d!ed inside.
