Challenge Cup: Ospreys to face Scarlets in last 16

Ospreys will host Scarlets in an all-Welsh last 16 tie of the European Challenge Cup.

Perpignan’s bonus-point win over Zebre on Sunday ended Scarlets’ hopes of a home tie.

The fixture is due to be played on the weekend commencing 5 April.

Swansea City are due to face Derby County in football’s Championship at the Swansea.Com Stadium on the Saturday, which could see the tie played elsewhere, potentially Bridgend’s Brewery Field.

Scarlets are due to host Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship the week before [29 March], so the two sides will meet on successive weekends.

Cardiff will also be on the road in the Challenge Cup knockouts.

They have been drawn against Connacht who they lost to in their final pool game on Friday.

Dragons failed to progress after finishing fifth in their pool.
