FA Cup: Nine Teams Advance to Fifth Round

At least nine teams have secured their spots in the fifth round of this season’s FA Cup following a weekend of competitive matches.

Wrexham and Chelsea advanced after their matches on Friday night. They were joined on Saturday by Manchester City, West Ham, Newcastle United, Southampton, Mansfield Town, Norwich City, and Liverpool.

Manchester City defeated Salford 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium, with goals from Ait-Nouri and Marc Guehi. West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville emerged as the hero, scoring the decisive goal in extra time to secure a victory over Burton.

Newcastle United overcame a 10-man Aston Villa at Villa Park, while Liverpool capped off the day’s fixtures with a 3-0 win against Brighton.

Looking ahead to Sunday, Arsenal will host Wigan, Fulham will travel to Stoke City, Oxford will face Sunderland, and Wolves will take on Grimsby.
