Samantha Markle sparks fury as she cries on live TV while calling Meghan

Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, has been slammed for the comments she made about the Duchess of Sussex during an interview.

Samantha Markle was invited on Dan Wootton’s evening show on GB News on Wednesday, August 4, to discuss her relationship with Meghan Markle, who was celebrating her 40th birthday.

When the host asked if she still loves her sister Meghan, Samantha said: “It’s really hard to love somebody who has caused so much pain to so many people.

“Especially with our dad having two heart attacks and watching her do this to the royals.

“I can’t say I can love somebody who is so unbelievably cruel.”

Viewers took to Twitter to call Samantha an “attention seeker”. Others pointed out how she was crying one minute and then insulting Meghan the next.

One person wrote: “Fake sentimentality, she very quickly recovered herself.”

A second person said: “Genuinely upset one minute and then ok the next, not a Meghan fan but this looked false to me.”

During the interview, Samantha also said Meghan was “worryingly obsessed” with the Royal family from a young age.

Samantha described Meghan’s obsession with the royal family as “unhealthy” and her sister knew exactly “where she wanted to be”.

She added: “I always told my friends that are male if you want to see what a woman is made of and what she wants you for, drive up in a broken-down VW and see if she wants to go out with you then.

“But clearly she had her sights on Harry because of who he is.”
