‘I Thought It Was A Fake Davido’ – Mayorkun Speaks On Music Career

Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, known professionally as Mayorkun, has opened up on how Davido saved him from his banking job.

Mayorkun revealed that when Davido chatted him up via Twitter he thought it was a fake account but was surprised when he met the OBO boss in person and realized it was real.

Mayorkun stated this when speaking to Chude Jideonwo on how he began his music career.

He explained that he did a freestyle of a song called  ‘The money’ and posted it on Twitter.

Mayorkun stated that he was shocked when Davido reposted the video and contacted him asking for his WhatsApp number.

He said that as at that time he was having issues in his work place as he had gotten into a fight with his boss.

Davido contacting him as at that time had saved him from the bank job which he was frustrated with.
