Adamawa State House of Assembly Confirms Administrators for 45 Development Areas

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has approved the appointment of administrators for 45 development areas across the state.

These development areas function similarly to local government units, receiving funding and governance from the state government.

The confirmation came during a session led by Speaker Bathiya Wesley. Among those appointed were Malena Manasseh for Borrong; Joshua Magani for Bidomi in Demsa Local Government Area; Ibrahim Fidelis for Fali; and Amina Betso for Betso/Mayo Bani in Mubi North Local Government Area.

Additional appointments included Audacity Buba for Belel; Emmanuel Lawan for Pakka/Vokna; and Haruna Hassan for Mbilla in Maiha Local Government Area. Linus Desmond will serve as the administrator for Nasarawo Jerreng, Elisabeth Alkali for Tola, and Joshua Badamasi for Ndikkong in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area.

In Michika Local Government Area, Stratus Samaila, Nuhu Garba, and Bitrus Dami were appointed for Michika North, Michika West, and Michika South, respectively. Muhammed Kalawa and Abdulwahab Musa were confirmed for Mubi East and Mubi West in Mubi South Local Government Area, while Moses Tatula and Benedict Barau will oversee Vulpu and Imbru/Barre, respectively.

Monday Solomon has been appointed for the Kiri Development Area in Shelleng Local Government Area. In Song Local Government Area, Aliyu Awulekyau will serve for Dumne, Charles Adamu for Mboi, and Abubakar Dahiru for Zumo.

The House also approved administrators for four development areas in Fufore Local Government Area: Abdullazeez Baba for Gurin, Mahmud Mamman for Malabu, Abubakar Alim for Daware, and Amoris Haziel for Yadim.

Other appointments include Aisha Musa for Gangdu; Nasiru Adamu for Ganye East in Ganye Local Government Area; Sylvester Gashon for Vunoklang; and Tijjani Chubabo for Jera Bakari in Girei Local Government Area. Grace Hiram Boga is appointed for Lala; Steven Mshelia for Garkida in Gombi Local Government Area; Abalis Barminas for Kulinyi; Mahmud Jerengol for Uba/Hildi; and Rabiu Musa for Gaya/Garaha in Hong Local Government Area.

Additionally, Usman Abubakar was confirmed for Kojoli, Zubairu Hammanyaji for Mbulo, and James Irmiya for Koma Vomni in Jada Local Government Area. Tilon Kiribus and Relestha Gashuka will oversee Gyawana and Waduku/Suwa in Lamurde Local Government Area. In Madagali Local Government Area, Emmanuel Gamache and Ana P were appointed for Madagali North and South, respectively.

Completing the list, Haziel Godwin was appointed for Toungo South, Ahmed Jauro for Toungo East in Toungo Local Government Area, and Abdullahi Abdu Modi and Maxwell Agabus for Yola Central and Yola West, respectively.
