Adedokun explains Quickraiz plan for sick actors – The Nation Nigeria

The Managing Director and Chief Government Officer of Ativo Nigeria Restricted, homeowners of Quickraiz, Bayo Adeokun, has defined why the corporate is engaged on rescuing sick Nollywood actors and entertainers.

Talking on a latest partnership with Actors Guild of Nigeria, Adeokun mentioned the last word goal is to help AGN members who can’t afford medical payments to boost funds.

Adeokun mentioned: “In latest instances, we’ve seen many elderly actors and actresses having well being points, through which they’ are unable to finance their medical payments and with the appearance of COVID-19, their situation will get worsened day-by-day.

 

“As a passionate group which cares in regards to the welfare of its members, the Nationwide Executives of the Actors Guild of Nigeria took it upon themselves to help the ailing actors that couldn’t pay their medical payments by partnering us as knowledgeable crowd-funding platform in Nigeria to flag off a N50 million fund to cater for his or her members, each dwelling and overseas,” he mentioned.

Some common actors having severe challenges embody Ify Onwuemene, Bruno Iwuoha, Ifeanyi Ezeokeke, Tunde Alabi, and Tina Nwachukwu.
