Lagos State House of Assembly Confirms Appointment of Adebisi Adelabu as LASPA General Manager
The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu as the General Manager of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA). The decision was made during a plenary session on Monday.
This confirmation comes after the assembly previously rejected her appointment a few weeks ago, citing irregularities in her nomination. Following an extended period of scrutiny, lawmakers arrived at a renewed consensus regarding her qualifications.
Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, who led the session, stated that the confirmation was in accordance with Section 92 of the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018. He emphasized that the assembly deemed Adelabu suitable for the role.
