Australia’s Ange Postecoglou has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Tottenham to become the English Premier League club’s next manager.
According to leading football reporter Fabrizio Romano, Postecoglou is expected to sign a two-year deal with an option for an added year.
The 57-year-old is believed to have notified his current club Celtic of his desire to leave for the Premier League, but it is yet to be seen if he will be granted his wish by the Scottish club.

Celtic will be further burnt by the fact that Postecoglou is set to take his right-hand man John Kennedy with him to the Spurs.
“John plays a vital role. I give him a lot of responsibility. He’s got a lot of experience at this football club, part of a lot of success,” Postecoglou said in an interview last week.
“That isn’t by accident. It’s not surprising people are looking at him.
“And when the time is right he will make an outstanding manager.”
Postecoglou is coming off another tremendous season which saw him win the Scottish treble.
