Bandits abduct female passengers in Kwara community

Two Female Passengers Abducted in Kwara State

Bacita, Nigeria – Two female passengers were abducted by armed bandits on Monday in the Bacita community, located in the Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State. The victims were traveling in a commercial vehicle when it experienced mechanical failure.

According to security sources, the vehicle, which had originated from Niger State and was en route to Osun State, broke down at Bacita Junction. Following the incident, the two women were reportedly taken by armed suspects.

In response to the abduction, operatives from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Bacita have increased their efforts. They have coordinated with other security agencies to enhance support for the ongoing operations aimed at tracking down the abductors and rescuing the victims.

Additionally, security forces have heightened surveillance in the Bacita community and established cordons around key areas to deter further criminal activities. These measures are part of a broader strategy to locate the bandits and ensure community safety.
