Bandits abduct nursing mother delivering ransom to secure release of her kidnapped daughter in Katsina

Bandits have kidnapped a nursing mother who went to deliver ransom to secure the release of her kidnapped daughter, Wasila Nasiru, in Katsina State.  

 

A conflict and crisis journalist, Bakatsine, who disclosed this on Friday said that Wasila was abducted last week in Batsari Local Government Area of the state. 

 

According to the journalist, the bandits are now claiming Wasila is no longer in their custody.

 

“Nasiru Baro’s wife went to deliver the ransom for their kidnapped daughter, Wasila Nasiru, that was abducted last week but the bandits took her too and now claim they don’t have the child,” 

 

“She left behind a 6-month-old baby, abandoned by the bandits in Wagini, Batsari LGA, Katsina State. Malam Nasiru Baro, struggling with poor health, is now left with 8 children and no way to support them since Wednesday morning. The family is in desperate need of help, facing unbearable hardship after this double tragedy.”
