KADUNA, Nigeria — A farmer identified as Abdulkarim suffered severe injuries after armed bandits amputated his hand while he was working on his farm in the Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident occurred on Friday evening when Abdulkarim was tending to his dry-season crops. According to security analyst Bakatsine, the assailants attacked him after he confronted them.
Sources indicate that the violence is part of a broader pattern affecting farmers in the region, raising concerns about safety and security in agricultural areas.
