Bandits kill elderly man, abduct women in Zamfara
Bandits attacked Kurfar Danya village in Bukkuyyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Friday, resulting in the death of an elderly resident and the abduction of six women.
The incident was reported on Saturday by security analyst Bakastine via social media. The victim, identified by locals as Baba Kadago, was killed during the assault, which also involved the burning of several homes within the community.
The post detailed the attack, stating, “The incident resulted in the death of an elder known as Baba Kadago, the abduction of six women, and the destruction of multiple residences.”
This violent episode has left the local community in a state of shock.
