Bandits kill man, abduct his 15-year-old daughter in Zaria

Bandits have killed one Alhaji Abdullahi Ardo and abducted his 15-year-old daughter, Mariya, in Dorayi village of Dutsen Abba ward in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to a witness who spoke to Daily Trust, the bandits invaded the village around 2am on WednesdayApril 13, and went straight to the residence of the deceased.

“From there, they went away without further attack on any house or person. We feel they purposely came to pick Alhaji Ardo, and when they attempted, he might have posed some resistance, that’s why they shot him and then abducted his daughter.” the witness said.
