On February 17, 2021, Nigerian singer and next rated nominee at the Headies, Bella Shmurda launched the #RushRappersChallenge on Instagram.

On his Instagram page, he wrote, “#RushRappersChallenge.. looking for the best two Rappers to tell the Rush Story!”
