Rivers State Assembly Rejects Four Commissioner Nominees
The Rivers State House of Assembly has declined to confirm four commissioner nominees proposed by Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The screening process took place on Monday at the State Assembly in Port Harcourt. Five nominees received approval, including Mr. Tonye Bellgam, Professor Temple Nwofor, Dr. Peters Nwagor, Mr. Lekue Kenneth, and Sir Amairigha Edward Hart.
In contrast, the Assembly rejected the nominations of Professor Datonye Alasia, Mrs. Charity Deemua, Tamuno Williams, and Otonye TKD Amachree.
