Burna Boy Sets Record as First African Artist to Gross Over $1 Million in Oceania Concert

Sydney, Australia — Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has achieved a significant milestone in the music industry. He is now the first African artist to gross more than $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.

This record was established during the Sydney performance of his “No Sign Of Weakness” tour at Qudos Bank Arena on October 18, 2025. The concert generated $1.117 million in revenue.

According to data from Touring Data, Burna Boy’s “No Sign Of Weakness” tour has broken another record as the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania, with total earnings of $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.

Detailed figures from Touring Data indicate that the Australian leg of the tour sold a total of 30,946 tickets, averaging $100.94 per ticket and yielding an average revenue of $772,791 per show.

The “No Sign Of Weakness” tour spanned 20 performances across three continents: North America, Europe, and Oceania. With this latest accomplishment, Burna Boy has now become the first African artist to gross over $1 million from a single concert on three different continents.
