A fan of singer and producer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has mocked his colleagues, Burna Boy and Wizkid after the singer featured in the 2022 FIFA World Cup soundtrack ‘Better Together’.

Naija News reports that Davido disclosed his participation in the song via a post on his Twitter account on Friday.

According to the singer, he performed alongside Trinidad Cardona and Aisha.

Davido in a post on Twitter wrote, “I’m honoured to be featured on the Official ⁦@FIFAWorldCup⁩ 2022 Soundtrack!

“Who dey wamba, we still qualify las las.

“See you all later tonight, This one is for Africa! TULE! WE RISE!”

Reacting to the news, a fan of the singer identified as Tife took to the opportunity to throw a subliminal jab at the Grammy Awards winning singers, Burna Boy and Wizkid.

He wrote; ‘Na two people sing Baloon D’or, na another person FIFA call to sing for world cup’

Meanwhile, the Technical Adviser, Augustine Eguavoen has stepped down as the coach of the Super Eagles after the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The NFF had withdrawn the two-and-half years contract offered to the coaches and terminated the appointment of the entire technical crew of the team with immediate effect.

A new crew will be announced after a proper review to lead the new charge of reinvigorating the Super Eagles to face future challenges appropriately.
