Burna Boy's song makes Biden's inauguration playlist – Daily Post Nigeria

Burna Boy’s track had been listed as one of many songs to be performed on January 20, 2020, as President-elect Joe Biden and vice-president-elect Kamala Harris are sworn into workplace within the US.

This was confirmed after the president-elect, and vice president-elect launched a 46-song playlist in honour of their upcoming administration.

The track, ‘Future,’ was one in all his hit songs off his grammy-nominated album ‘African Large.

The 46 tracks playlist was chosen by American music producer and rapper DJ D-Good and actress, Issa Rae’s Radio in partnership with the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

The chief govt of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Tony Allen, stated the songs and artists on the playlist replicate the relentless spirit and wealthy variety of America.

“They’re the rating to a brand new chapter and can assist deliver folks collectively because the Biden-Harris administration begins its essential work to unite our nation,” Allen added.

Asides from Burna Boy, different worldwide stars on the playlist together with Invoice Withers, (‘Beautiful Day’), Marvin Gaye (‘Acquired to Give It Up – Pt. 1’), Bruce Springsteen (‘We Take Care of Our Personal’), Kendrick Lamar (‘Now or By no means’), Bob Marley & The Wailers (‘Might You Be Liked’), Jill Scott (‘Golden’) and Dua Lipa (‘Levitating’), amongst others

Recall in August 2020, Burna Boy turned one of many Nigerian artists to be listed on former US president Barack Obama’s summer time playlist alongside fellow Nigerian stars Davido, and Wizkid.
