Cardi B reacts after being attacked for

American rapper, Cardi B has apologised after she was accused of tradition appropriation over her new shoot.

The brand new shoot sees her mimicking a Hindu goddess stirring agitation amongst devoted of the faith.

Cardi B seems in a brand new marketing campaign for a sportswear model placing on a crimson robe with a number of arms extending from her physique and the imagery seems just like that of Durga, the Hindu goddess.

Durga is thought for energy, safety and conflict. And the WAP rapper acquired a variety of criticism.

Reacting to the bashing she received, Cardi B stated in an Instagram video, “So quite a lot of my followers are telling me that I’m getting dragged by social media.

“They saying it’s due to my Reebok shoot and saying that I disrespected like a goddess or one thing.”

The musician, a Catholic, added that when she did the shoot the creatives advised her she could be a goddess that represents energy, femininity and liberation.

“If individuals assume I offended their tradition or faith I wish to say I’m sorry – that was not my intent,” she stated.

Cardi B stated she doesn’t like disrespecting individuals’s faith and wouldn’t prefer it if anybody disrespected hers.
