HULL, England — Semi Ajayi made his return from injury on Saturday, but it was not enough to prevent Hull City from falling 3-1 to Millwall in their Sky Bet Championship match at the MKM Stadium.
The 32-year-old center-back played the full match, marking his first appearance for Hull City in 2026 after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained while representing Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
This season, Ajayi has contributed in 13 league matches for the Tigers. Despite the defeat, Hull City remains in fifth place, holding 60 points from 36 matches.
