Championship: Lampard confirms Onyeka ready for Coventry City debut

Coventry City Coach Confirms Onyeka’s Readiness for Debut
Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard announced that midfielder Frank Onyeka is prepared to make his debut for the club following his recent arrival.
The Nigeria international joined Coventry on loan from Brentford on the final day of the winter transfer window. He missed the team’s home match against Oxford United last weekend, as he was granted compassionate leave to support his wife during the birth of their child.
Onyeka has since returned to training and is now in contention for the upcoming match. Lampard confirmed that Onyeka will participate in the home fixture against Middlesbrough scheduled for next Monday.
“He’s ready to go. He had a couple of days off, had the baby on Sunday/Monday, so he’s training with us,” Lampard said.
Currently, Coventry City sits in second place in the Sky Bet Championship, trailing Middlesbrough.
