Check Out Nominees In Major Categories As 95th Oscars Holds Today

The 95th edition of the Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, is set to hold on Sunday (today), at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, United States.

Naija News reports that the ceremony, which is held yearly by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will honour films released in 2022.

Winners that emerge from different categories are given a copy of a golden statuette known as a trophy officially called the “Academy Award of Merit.”

The 2023 Oscar edition has Multiverse sci-fi smash “Everything Everywhere All at Once” making the highest nomination in 11 places while Irish dark comedy “The Banshees of Inisherin” and World War I flick “All Quiet on the Western Front” has nine nominations.

As this year’s Oscar Academy awards would be held today, below is a list of nominees in major categories.
