Graham Potter felt less pressure after Chelsea overcame Leeds thanks to Wesley Fofana’s first Premier League goal for the Blues.

Before the slim win, Chelsea had only won one of their previous 15 games, making three points appear to be a necessity for coach Potter.

After 30 minutes, the Blues had three chances to record at least a 3-0 lead following a quick start.

Kai Havertz was one on one with Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier as Joao Felix hit the crossbar with a long drive and Ben Chilwell pushed wide from an excellent position.

After then, as Leeds seized control of the game and Chelsea began to lose steam, there was a growing sensation of déjà vu at Stamford Bridge. Jack Harrison missed the crossbar with a free kick just before halftime.

Fofana, however, ended Chelsea’s 396-minute goalless streak when he rose to head in a corner early in the second half.

The hosts dug hard to attempt to hold on for a precious victory which they successfully did despite how much Leeds intensified pressure.

Despite the win, Chelsea are still in the 10th spot, while Leeds are in the 17th position and one point above the relegation zone.

Arsenal players celebrate after scoring the winner against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Reiss Nelson’s incredible goal in the 97th minute helped Premier League leaders Arsenal overcome a two-goal deficit to upset Bournemouth.

After just 9.11 seconds, Philip Billing gave Bournemouth the lead, and Marco Senesi’s header made it 2-0.

Afterward, Thomas Partey and Ben White evened the score before Nelson’s winning goal.

The winger, who was playing for the first time since November 12th, smashed in from 25 yards in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

Arsenal’s lead in the Premier League has been restored to five points after it seemed as though they could lose it to Manchester City, who thrashed Newcastle in the early kickoff.
