A Nasarawa State High Court sitting in Akwanga has sentenced one Gambo Adamu to d3ath by hanging for murder.
The presiding judge of the Court, Justice Mustapha Ramat, delivered the judgement on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Justice Ramat found the convict guilty of causing the d3ath of one Hassan Ahmed by harvesting his organs in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking shortly after the judgement, the state’s Attorney-General, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji described the judgment as a victory for the people of the State and a deterrent to those who would engage in such nefarious activities.
According to him, the heinous crime committed by the convict earned him the death sentence.
The judgment, Barr Magaji, said is a testament to his commitment to justice and his efforts to curb criminal tendencies.
