Court strikes out charges against Naira Marley – Daily Post Nigeria

A Tinubu Magistrates’ Court docket in Lagos on Tuesday dismissed a automotive theft cost filed by the police towards hip hop artist, Adeyemi Fashola, popularly often called Naira Marley.

Commencing path on Tuesday, Chief Justice of the Peace Tajudeen Elias ordered dismissal of the case after receiving a settlement settlement between the complainant Mr Adelekan Ademola and the 4 defendants.

DAILY POST recollects that the Justice of the Peace court docket earlier ordered that Marley be arrested and arraigned over alleged automotive theft.

The chief Justice of the Peace, Mr Tajudeen Elias, ordered that the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sgt. Sunday Idoko, dealing with the case should current Naira Marley in court docket on the following date of adjournment.

Justice of the Peace Elias struck out the four-count cost of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the police from arresting Marley.
Marley, his two brothers Idris Fashola, 18; Babatunde Fashola, 24; and their cousin, Kunle Obere, 22 had been the defendants within the case.
