COVID 19: ‘The earth is crying – Music legend, Bongos Ikwue writes on global pandemic – Daily Post Nigeria

As the worldwide pandemic known as coronavirus continues to ravage the earth, Nigeria’s iconic musician, Bongos Ikwue, has known as on Nigerian and world leaders to seek out the best way to appease the earth.

Ikwue, recognized for hit songs such, Hold Looking out, Cock Crow at Daybreak, Otachikpokpo and others, gave the message on the weekend, to commemorate his 78th birthday anniversary, which was held at low key in Otukpo, Benue state.

In an open letter entitled ‘COVID-19: Now the Earth is crying, we now have to hear’, the music legend, stated the one resolution to the worldwide scourge was for the federal government and privileged people to share what they have with the less-privileged within the society.

“I imagine the planet earth is wounded, it wants therapeutic. This therapeutic can solely come when the (authorities and privileged residents) on the earth understands that the wealth of this world belongs to the world. Authorities and world leaders MUST discover a solution to appease the earth by evenly distributing the wealth of the world. (WODW) #wealthoftheworld.

“Coronavirus (Covid-19) has proven clearly that each one the applied sciences of the world can and have failed.

“Now the earth is crying, we should hear. The warning bell has sounded, however are we listening?

“Once we, for example, set bushes ablaze, we set the properties of animals ablaze; that’s the place they stay.

“Let humility take cost of your life; conceitedness is lethal.
