The kit comes with a brow gel, a brow powder, a brow pencil and a double ended ‘fluff & feather’ brush. There are five shade options – Taupe, Auburn, Soft Brown, Dark Brown and Soft Black. The shade I have here is Dark Brown although I think my ideal match would be Soft Brown.
Despite the powder looking rather intense, I got a very natural effect (if you prefer a strong brow, just use more powder) – it’s definitely not a laminated look – with my boring brows perked up a bit and looking more groomed. If I didn’t have brows that were covered by my fringe, I’d easily use this for better rather than bolder or bigger brows. The Setting Balm is activated with water so you need to dampen the fluff brush prior to using, and if you have gaps, the pencil will help you fill in. The active ingredients (I think in the balm) are squalane and purslane extracts (A, C & E) so I also like the fact there are some nourishing ingredients that will care for your brows. I didn’t think I’d be a fan of this, but I really like it. The Deck of Scarlet Over-Arching Brow Kit is £34 HERE.
