The prosecutions are part of an ongoing effort to uphold environmental sustainability in the region.

Mr. Isaac Nwosu, the Head of Environment at DSCTDA, spearheaded the enforcement action against those found in breach of environmental regulations. During the latest court session, the cases of four defendants were dismissed, while bench warrants were issued for 12 individuals who failed to appear in court.

One significant case involved Chuzz4 Apartment and Suites, which was accused of improperly discharging wastewater into public drainage systems. This action poses a potential threat to public health and sanitation.
