Dragons ‘snitches’ blamed for latest scandal

Former St George Illawarra hardman James Graham has put supposed “snitches” at the Dragons on blast.

Graham’s impassioned spray on Triple M radio came in response to the latest off-field scandal at the Red V, this time involving a 6am heated scuffle between Mikaele Ravalawa and Zane Musgrove outside a team hotel in Mudgee.

The teammate bust-up followed a dismal performance in the Charity Shield, as coach Anthony Griffin desperately tries to breathe some life into the battling team with the 2023 season kicking off this week.

But it wasn’t the actions of Ravalawa or Musgrove that had Graham seeing Red.

“My issue with this is, who is the grass that has gone and leaked it,” Graham said.

“Who is the snitch? Why are you going and telling the media for?

“Because it was a non-issue. Nothing got broken, no-one was hurt, no-one caused a disruption. No member of the public was affected by this.

“Which little snitch has gone to the media and said there was a fight at 6am? Who is the snitch?

“That is the issue the Dragons need to sort out. Not sorting out if there is an issue with teammates.

“I’d be blowing up deluxe about that.”

Graham revealed he addressed the Dragons playing group during his time there, confronting his teammates about a story being leaked to media.

The fiery English forward played 51 of his 186 NRL games in the Red V before leaving in 2020, and retiring later that year.
