[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I really like the Elemis gifting this year – they look bookish and smart meaning that you could give this to absolutely anyone and I think they’d like it. I can’t remember smelling the British Wilderness fragrance before which is rather a loose brief – but the scent is beautiful. Nothing is going to beat Frangipani for me – I used it recently in the bath and was reminded of what a happy fragrance it is – but British Wilderness is rose, amber and spices.

Elemis British Wilderness Set

I could detect a slight sweetness to it which could be the patchouli but it’s really such a nice blend for a hot and cosy winter bath that you’ll come out of feeling much the better for. To me, it’s not a shower scent – I think it depends what end of the day you take your shower – I prefer a morning shower so like things brisk and citrussy, but I would pour myself happily into a steep of this in the evening. Really, I’m tempted to say rip up the beautiful box with no guilt and keep the contents – think of it as a bit of first aid in the run up to Christmas ;-). I’ve found the set for varying prices but the best I think is £36.75 at Sephora, reduced from £49. It’s HERE.
