End SARS: 2baba Reacts To Lawsuit Filed Against Him

Legendary Nigerian musician, 2baba, has reacted to the swimsuit filed in opposition to him and 49 others for supporting the protest in opposition to police brutality and dangerous governance.

Naija News had earlier reported that an activist recognized as Kenechukwu Okeke, filed a suit at the Federal Capital High Court in Abuja, FCT.

Okeke within the swimsuit famous that the defendants used their twitter accounts to conspire amongst themselves to “commit misdemeanor, to wit selling or performing in such a way with intent to help within the promotion of an illegal meeting beneath the guise or composition of #EndSARS”.

Okeke claimed that the offence was punishable beneath Part 97 (2) of the Penal Code Act, C53 Legal guidelines of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

The award-winning singer whereas reacting to the event by his supervisor, Efe Omorogbe, described the swimsuit as a mere social media development.

There’s no remark but. We’ve not been served any paper. We’ve not obtained any formal summon.”

He additional said that they won’t act on the regulation swimsuit till they obtain a summon.

We are able to’t reply to what’s merely trending on social media till we obtain a summon we will’t reply,” he added.
