End SARS: Kenny Black leads protest in Ejigbo, Lagos – Daily Post Nigeria

Ejigbo LCDA chairman, Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe, appealed to the youths protesting towards the Particular Anti-Theft Squad of the police as we speak (Wednesday), assuring that federal and state governments are working collectively to handle their calls for.

Addressing the protesters led by Otoloorin Kehinde Peters also called Kenny Black in Ejigbo, the chairman suggested them to conduct their exercise peacefully.

The protesters have been agitating for the scrapping of the unit for the extra-judicial killing of residents.

Talking on their behalf, Kenny Black mentioned the atrocities of the SARS personnel have been getting out of hand as a result of they infringed on the elemental human rights of residents.

He mentioned the protesters joined the protest to make sure that their voice in Ejigbo was heard.

Responding, Fregene urged them to conduct their protest in a peaceable method in order to take care of regulation and order, cautioning them to not permit these with sinister motives to hijack the state of affairs.

He famous that President Mohammed Buhari has given the IGP a directive to disband SARS, including that the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has equally addressed the youths the day earlier than and likewise promised to fulfill Mr. President on the matter.
