Falz Protest To End SARS In Lagos

Nigerian musicians, Falz and Runtown, have expressed their want to proceed to push for the scrapping of the Particular Anti-Theft Squad of the police.
The 2 of them led dozens of protesters to march throughout the streets of Lagos on Thursday.

They have been joined by afro-pop musician, Jaywon.

The protesters stormed the Police Headquarters Zone 2 and the Lagos State Home, Onikan.

Addressing protesters after the demonstration, Falz mentioned the agitations won’t finish till SARS was disbanded.

“We wish SARS to be disbanded. We’re not backing down. We’re coming again,” he mentioned.

Runtown additionally insisted that Nigerian youth will proceed to push for the reform of the police and scrapping of SARS.

“We’re coming again and this time we aren’t backing down. We’re coming again on Tuesday and the demand we’re right here for is the scrapping of SARS,” Runtown mentioned.

The protest is about to proceed on Tuesday with a petition to be submitted to the police authorities.

An identical protest is concurrently holding on the Lagos State Home of Meeting as youths proceed to push for the scrapping of SARS.
