EPL: Bruno Fernandes gives Man Utd two conditions to stay at club

Bruno Fernandes Sets Conditions for Manchester United Future

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is contemplating his future with the club, presenting two key conditions for him to remain beyond this summer.

Last year, Fernandes was frequently linked to a transfer to a Saudi Arabian club, with Manchester United reportedly rejecting a £100 million offer at that time. As he nears his 32nd birthday, the Portugal midfielder’s focus has shifted toward his prospects at Old Trafford.

United is prepared to offer Fernandes a new contract worth £400,000 per week. However, the midfielder has outlined specific requirements before making a decision. The first condition is that the team must secure a position to compete in European football.

Currently, Manchester United sits in third place in the Premier League standings with 51 points. Alongside the European football requirement, Fernandes also seeks the permanent appointment of Michael Carrick as manager, following the expiration of Carrick’s short-term contract in June.
