British broadcaster Piers Morgan has expressed his admiration for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães following the team’s 1-0 victory over Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Morgan hailed Gabriel’s performance, stating, “This guy was magnificent tonight. MAGNIFICENT! I love him so much,” alongside a photograph of the player.
Gabriel’s strong showing contributed to Arsenal’s win at the Amex Stadium, where Bukayo Saka scored the sole goal in the first half. This victory places Arsenal seven points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League standings. However, City remains in contention with a game in hand after drawing 2-2 against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium also on Wednesday.
