Manchester United Caretaker Manager Achieves Milestone Victory
Manchester United’s interim manager, Michael Carrick, made history on Sunday by overseeing a 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko secured the win at Old Trafford, marking a significant achievement for Carrick. With this victory, Carrick has accumulated 23 points in nine Premier League matches, comprising seven wins and two draws across his two tenures as manager.
This total ranks alongside that of former Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou for the highest points accumulated by any manager in the Premier League after nine games.
Looking ahead, Carrick aims to extend his success as Manchester United prepares to face Newcastle on Wednesday. Following the victory against Crystal Palace, United is currently positioned third in the Premier League table, having garnered 51 points from 28 matches.
