In a discussion on the show “Overlap,” Rooney expressed confidence in Arsenal’s abilities, stating that the team is “too strong and powerful.” The 40-year-old emphasized that the Gunners are better equipped to handle the pressures of the title race this year, drawing from their experiences in previous seasons.
“I think they’re too strong and powerful,” Rooney said. “I believe they will win it because of Mikel Arteta. He has shown the ability to manage pressure in previous years, but he is handling it effectively this season.”

While acknowledging that Manchester City will pose a significant challenge, Rooney speculated that City may struggle to win every game, making it difficult for Arsenal to drop points.
