Four Nigerians arrested in Libya as police raid house allegedly used for prostitution

Police have arrested four Nigerian migrants over alleged prostitution in Libya.

 

In a statement on Friday, February 14, 2025, Migrant Rescue Watch said that the accused, three women and a man were arrested in Aqar, Shatii District on Wednesday, during a raid on a residence allegedly used for prostitution.

 

“Aqar Police Dept. conducted a raid on a residence used by migrants for prostitution. During op, 3 females and 1 male of Nigerian nationality were arrested. All referred to public prosecution for legal action,” the statement read.
