Vitinha Calls Pedri the Best Midfielder in the World
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha has recognized Barcelona’s Pedri as the premier midfielder globally.
In an interview with Canal 11, the Portugal international praised Pedri, labeling him a “magical footballer” and suggesting he surpasses compatriots Joao Neves and Bruno Fernandes in talent.
“When asked about the best midfielder, I would put Pedri at the top of the list. He is magical; it is spectacular to see him play,” Vitinha said. He added that facing Pedri on the pitch allows for a greater appreciation of his skills.
While acknowledging Neves and Fernandes as exceptional talents, Vitinha noted, “I don’t have a top three but a top four.”
Since his transfer from Las Palmas in 2020, Pedri has consistently impressed fans and analysts alike with his performances for the Blaugrana.
